Mr. Black is the Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Capital Markets HP Asia. He has a Business Degree from Wharton School and Mathematics degree from University of Kansas. Mr. Black's key industry focus and responsibility is for Stock Exchanges, Central Depositories, Clearing and Settlement, and Regulatory Institutions in Asia for HP.

Mr. Black comes to HP having a wide variety of business expertise in Capital Markets Industry. Most recently having completed an assignment (4 years) with the Indonesian Capital Markets as Business Advisor and Senior Project Consultant for the Central Depository, Clearing/Guarantee Company and the Jakarta Stock Exchange for implementation of Scripless Trading. He performed the role of Business Advisor for Recall and Conversion of Scrip, Y2K compliance and facilitated Jakarta Stock Exchange in preparing their Broker Back office systems (BOFIS).

Mr. Black prepared the Business Overview for the Jakarta Central Depository (KSEI) and the Clearing/Guarantee Company (KPEI) for publication. This publication was approved by the BAPEPAM, which is the central regulator for the Capital Markets in Indonesia. Mr. Black, has prepared a number of feasibility studies for the Capital Markets to establish separate IT Company's for the purposes' of consolidating IT infrastructure and operations, when Exchange's become demutualized.

Mr. Black has performed Consulting roles with a number of International Stock Exchanges worldwide. Having performed as Project Consultant and Business Advisor, for the preparation and development of Stock Exchange electronic trading systems, Clearing & Settlement, Surveillance and Regulatory Monitoring Systems and Rules.

Mr. Black worked with Tandem Computers Europe as the European Retail Marketing Manager. He has a wide background in Nonstop Systems (Himalayas, Unix and Legacy Systems), eTrading, Remote Trading, Front-end Servers, LANs, and Networks and is a Project Expert in the area of developing Computer based systems and applications.

With his diverse experience in this ever changing and robust industry, Mr. Black assists HP's customers to position their organization to meet the market demands of operating a successful business utilizing best practices. He works with HP capital market customers to build strategies complemented by the comprehensive range of enterprise and electronic commerce solutions available to transform our customer's business' into market leaders.
