James Ahn is a partner in McKinsey & Company's Corporate Finance practice, and based in Hong Kong. James has advised numerous global and local financial institutions in the areas of corporate strategy, M&A, growth, and organization. His clients include 3 of world's top 10 financial institutions, and 4 of the top 10 Asian financial institutions. In addition, he has worked closely with several governments and stock exchanges in Asia on developing the financial sector and on their financial hub strategy. Prior to joining McKinsey, James worked at Cornerstone Research, an economics and financial consulting firm based in Menlo Park, California. James has a master's degree in finance from Stanford University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
