Nitin leads a team of market specialists in the Asia-Pacific region. The team is responsible for building the product on Bloomberg and working with market participants in the market development activities, especially in the emerging markets.

Nitin's stint at Bloomberg started at its Mumbai office where he built the equity and fixed income product for India, which today is one of the fastest growing markets. He moved to Singapore in 2001 to take over regional responsibility and worked on the fixed income market development in many Asian markets like India, China, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and lately in Vietnam where he was responsible in building yield curve and valuation models for the government and corporate bond market.

In Vietnam, the team initiated the process of setting up the Bond Market Association and built the first yield curve for the government bond market, valuation prices for the illiquid bonds and also built the swap curve fixings - all this information has already found wide acceptance across the global financial market community.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, he worked in an investment bank in India and then as an analyst at India's largest financial news publication writing on Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange market.
