Sin Foong WongCountry Manager of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia International Finance Corporation
Mr. Sin Foong Wong is currently the International Finance Corporation (IFC)'s Country Manager for Vietnam, Laos
and Cambodia. He is responsible for overseeing and developing the Corporation's strategy, managing key client
relationships and delivering IFC's business in the three countries, in collaboration with regional industry and
advisory teams.
Before coming to Vietnam, he was a Senior Investment Officer in the IFC's Oil, Gas, Mining and Chemicals Department
based in Washington DC. He joined the IFC in 2001 as a mid-career professional and has led transactions in the
Chemicals sector in India and China, and was responsible for the sector's first investments in Russia and Ukraine.
Mr. Wong also led the Chemicals strategy and business development in East Asia.
Prior to joining the IFC, Mr. Wong worked for 16 years in the finance function in a major international oil company
covering assignments in the upstream, downstream and chemicals businesses in affiliates in Malaysia, Australia, the
US and Singapore.
Mr. Wong holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and a Masters in Finance from the
London Business School.
